Urgent Humanity's Mission and Vision
Urgent Humanity's mission is to support organizations' ability to "do good" while simultaneously "being well". We work with companies or leaders to design and transform organizational systems and culture. Imbalances around urgency lead to a culture of challenges and people leaving the workplace. Imbalances around humanity lead to people feeling good while nothing gets accomplished. We support organizations in operating at high levels of humanity in order for the urgent nature of their work to get accomplished.

Our work is centered on the concepts of PERMA, a theory developed by Dr. Martin Seligman at the University of Pennsylvania. PERMA is a theory on well-being that codifies the five building blocks that enable human beings to flourish (Positive Emotion, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning and Accomplishment). Urgent Humanity applies the theory of PERMA as a way for organizations to build common language and to reflect on their organizational systems and culture to see if they are enabling staff to thrive and ultimately be well while simultaneously driving outcomes.
